Kevin Townson is a Classical/Flamenco guitarist and composer currently based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  He performs as both a soloist and with his Latin jazz group The Kevin Townson Group.

Kevin holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in music from The University of North Texas at Denton, TX, where he majored in Classical Guitar Performance.

He has been performing extensively throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) area, in various capacities, for over 25 years

Kevin is presently Director of the Childbloom Guitar Program and has been since 1995, including the past eight years in Weatherford, TX. Prior to that, Kevin taught guitar 10 years as an independent instructor.  

In addition to introducing the guitar to young people (via Childbloom) Kevin also teaches at Classical, Jazz and Flamenco guitar at Tarleton State University in Stephenville TX and Tarrant County College in Hurst TX.
